Jungle J's Play and Party Centre — Attraction in Oldham

As an owner of multiple businesses, I do try to be fair and impartial when leaving reviews. Therefore this review is based on facts, not personal preference...

Firstly, this place is a safety risk to the children who attend. Today we found equipment which was unsafe as the bolts were hanging out (pic included as proof). Reported to a staff member who claimed to be "the owner" (very much doubt that) who claimed all safety checks were done this morning. Obviously they weren't completed or simply not completed to an adequate standard.

Even before the above issue we had to move tables as the blow heater hanging from the roof was blowing out dirt and dust all over the tables (pic included as proof). The dust was falling all over us, the tables and into our drinks. The same "owner" claimed the heater is cleaned every week. Obviously not.

The above aside, service was appalling. It took 30 minutes to be served 2 slices of cheese and toast. And that was only because I had to remind them I had ordered! When we finally got the food, the server even stated (their words): "sorry about that, the staff are useless today" which I highly agree with. At one point there were 5 staff members stood in the kitchen area, eating and leaning over counters where food is supposed to be prepared. None of which were kitchen staff and haden't washed their hands. Staff were also constantly huddled together behind counters, again eating and laughing together while customers such as myself were waiting to be served and not even being looked at.

In closing, the most shocking issue with todays visit was the attitude of "the owner" who rather than listen to relevant customer complaints about the safety of children etc, continued to try and interrupt while making excuses and minimalising the issues. Amongst the 7 staff (including "owner") who were present today, there was not one shred of responsibility, leadership or quality from one of them.

There are far better, far cleaner, far safer places to visit than here. Another...

I have been coming too this play centre for 15 years I've had several party's here over the years but never in my life have I had such an awful experience. ordered some tea took half an hour too bring some chips and nuggets over too find a huge blonde hair in them told the staff then waited another 20 mins for the manager too come over slam the plate down and say it wasn't any of ours (I have long black hair ) then too be told 5 mins after we finally get our food that there shutting for a party so the kids couldn't even eat there tea.the kids came off the slide wet through too tell me a little girl just did a wee on the slide I asked for the manager too be told sorry but it's not my problem but I'll clean it I then proceeded too tell her the children hadn't even finished eating was told tuff but they can take it with them the manager was rude and very unprofessional dealing with my complaints and said sorry but it's one of them things didn't even get offered a refund so my children left full of someone's urine and empty bellys when I spent 30 pound getting in the place and ordering there tea never again will I go back after 15 years I have seen lots of owners pass through but never have I been spoke too so rude the staff all look about 15 years old standing around d on there phones gossiping about some of the mums including our group such a shame the place has gone downhill so much ! will be going anywhere else but here be warned guys the place is shocking do not waste your money here I certainly won't be again!!! I usually come to this play area quiet a lot but after today, i will 1000% not be returning. Booked a session for 1:30 and didnt get there till about 1:50, when the time was up we was still there due to the kids still eating and my son whom has additional needs had ran off to the play equipment. I went toilet before getting him so we could just get him and go and the woman who is in the kitchen, came onto the microphone and said " any children still on the equipment from the 1:30 session that has not yet left could be stopped from coming here". Now this is not very professional and they are quick enough to take our money, not to mention when i went last week me and other parents, 2 of had prams had to wait in the door way until we was told we could go in and again having a child with additional needs can be very challenging.
