Lovely beach enjoy our visits walking along the beach. I wish dog owners would take more responsibility for their dogs.

Had our enjoyment spoiled by some slob with a Dalmatian, who clearly had a very boisterous dog which he must know, but he allowed his dog to go pelting up to people, lunging at them., no regard for people who may have had bad experience with dog attacks. This slob should have realised his dog was like this. And put it on a lead., he didn't even attempt to clean up after the dog crapped on the beach.

When I approached him, he thought his dog had a right to roam on the beach. It doesn't between May and September. But also we have a right to roam on the beach without being hurled at by his Dalmatian.

Judging by the kid he had with him. This slob, can't even bring his kid up properly, so no chance for training his dog.

We did later see many other respectful dog owners who did put their dog on a lead, although they were not...

Little bits of sandy spots here and there but never really dried out...so not great for sitting. Otherwise, a cobbled beach. Views and sunsets are beautiful though, great view of Puffin Island and Great Orme. Also a good few spots to park up along the front and only 7 minutes walk from the town centre. We took a pizza and wine onto the beach for sunset...it was great. Only downside is the very busy highway that runs parallel to the coastline, the trees block out a lot of the noise, and when you get close to the water you can't hear it...but it's not super relaxing otherwise. Recommend Stella fish and chips but take cash. Coop has all else you could need (and a cash machine)...but it's...

This is my favourite UK beach at the moment! It's usually fairly quiet, I love the paddling pool area, perfect for if you don't check the ride times and need to procrastinate until you can access the beach! Lots of grassy areas to picnic on too.

I wish the loos weren't paid entry, it's such a pain! But we did use the disabled loo key from the cafe as we had a baby with us. This was helpful but it meant queuing or pushing in at the cafe which is usually busy.

On street parking is easy to find not...

Really lovely quiet beach little known by visitors but mainly by locals. The little cafe is good value for money and serve food and drink which is a welcome break from home packed sandwiches. The beach is subject to the tide and therefore I recommend you check the sea state before you go. When the sea is out the beach is a large expanse of beautiful brown sand perfect for sabd castle building. Well worth a visit for a loe cost day out with the kids.

Love this beach. When the tide is out it is wonderful.. Early in the morning when there is no one or only a few dog walkers it feels like your own private beach. Walk towards Morfa and it is like you are walking for miles. Explore the rock pools, the interesting little shell formations. For a photographer it is bliss. The colours and reflections from the rocks and sandy/shells, heaven. I could go on about this beach forever. A firm favorite.

A great beach to go crabbing and the promenade is lovely to walk your dog. Unfortunately it rained the day we visited but it didn’t dampen our spirits. There is a beach side cafe which serves hot and cold food. The staff are really nice and friendly. Having a hot coffee and a burger was just needed in that wet day. The views behind you when stood facing the sea are amazing. We’d definitely come back but when the weather is better.
