We had a wonderful coffee and cakes in the cafe area before visiting the exhibit itself. I can't say that I was taken back with the exhibit itself, but it is classed as a contemporary gallery. Personally, it felt like the main hall could have been used to display more than one artist to try and appeal to more than the die-hard art lover. I can't say I would visit the exhibit again, but I would happily spend a few hours there with a coffee and cake (well priced and lovely too). We saw posters advertising the exhibit at Newlyn art gallery and decided to visit Penzance for tea and cakes before very excitedly making our way to Newlyn only to discover that the tapestries were at the Exchange which is in Penzance.
