Set off from the jubilee pool and head towards newlyn along the recently resurfaced promenade...the prom has markings in the ground for the streets coming off it, and new benches, pebble seating and various illustrations along the way that reflect the town and the sea front. There's a couple of great fish and chip shops across the road and there's sometimes a little coffee van...it's a lovely place to watch mounts bay and enjoy the afternoon sun! Yes money was spent when we had the last big storm but when finance was available from the sale of the council house stock the hockey pitch seemed to get the bigger portion of the finance.
