Newlyn Green — Attraction in Penzance

As we were walking down to the sea front we saw a garden sign but glancing in the gate we did not get any wow factor, but we still decided to go in and walk as it's free. How wrong we were, the gardens are spectacular in so many ways and it is kept in superb condition and a credit to the council that are custodians of it. You can't beat a trip to Newlyn Green if you're visiting Penzance or going for a walk locally. It's an excellent spot for running too - just watch out for all of the dog walkers! The green is also close to a Co op and Lidl if you want to grab something to go sit...

The green is in a lovely spot, and great views of the sea.

Unfortunately, with all the dog walkers allowing their dogs to use the green as a toilet, I'd strongly suggest not walking...
