This memorial park is really beautiful and peaceful. It's easily accessible with a pram, I took my 2 year old and 8 month old. There's a park within walking distance along a lovely scenic route with a proper path and lots of benches, although the play park was more aimed a little older than my children but they still had fun. I didn't realise there wasn't any parking, so had to park on the road, so that's something to consider. It's also a little smaller than I realised because a lot of photos are from the route outside the memorial park, but it was still worth a visit for us and I plan to revisit.

This is undoubtedly the best small park I have visited. It is a memorial park bequeathed by a father who lost a son in the Great War. It has a memorial shelter where the names of all those local to Radcliffe and killed in the war are named. The park is beautifully tended and more an arboretum than a park. The collection of trees and shrubs are astounding. There are plenty of seats in the park with the offer to escape the worries of today and just relax.

One of the most beautiful places to visit in Radcliffe, whatever the weather. In summer they sometimes put on a low key festival which is always a good vibe. My parents and I like to go here with friends from out of town

Small oval shaped memorial park on the edge of Radcliffe-on-Trent. It is not for play though. Strictly for peaceful walking and sitting and admiring the trees and garden. No facilities. It is quite small but is the main access to the cliff tops at Radcliffe-on-Trent, where you may walk either left towards the mobile home park and back into Radcliffe, or right towards Shelford. The cliffs overlook the Trent and the weir. Great views peek through the trees across the river towards Colwick and...

Lovely park, but beware that it gets very muddy after rain - if you are very particular about social distancing, avoid on rainy days or wear mud boots; it only has a narrow clean path, you'd either have to step into the mud or end up close to other people on their walk. There are many benches, so it is great for people who tire as easily as I do. There is a lovely little park within the park (parkception :D ) with lots of flowers (in flower...
