We wanted a 2-night stay in our campervan because we were supporting our daughter in the Uni rowing regatta at Holme Pierrepoint. We only rang 20 mins in advance - but got a very warm & enthusiastic welcome! We parked up in a nice, quiet corner of the car park - and quickly discovered that we were only a 5-min walk for the dogs from the Rockley Memorial Park and the nature reserve below - also only 50 mins rural walk from Holme Pierrepoint - which was perfect. Our daughter joined us for drinks in the beer garden and dinner with the dogs in the pub. The welcome for the dogs and the service were both fantastic & super-friendly - and the food was absolutely delicious. We had garlic bread, goats cheese salad and salt & pepper squid for starters, and chargilled pork chop, fillet steak and beef & wild mushroom pie (pictured) for mains - and all the food was spot-on. Only regret was no room for pudding! The following night our daughter unfortunately ended up in A&E from the rowing, so we had to stay with her - but The Radcliffe were happy for us to stay another night despite not being able to eat or drink with them. We will definitely stay next time we are in the area - Highly...
Read moreIts so easy to book this restaurant online and so simple. You get an email offering to cancel if required, so there is no excuse for a no show either ! Our arrival was well received by the Staff and an offer to have a drink at the bar, or taken to the table, was very much appreciated. We were allowed to browse the extensive menu whilst having a lovely chilled glass of New Zealand wine. I have to say the menu has something for everyone and is well thought out. The food is served hot and is cooked to perfection. I had the Belly Pork, which was a huge portion and my husband had the steak. He said it was also exactly as requested. All 3 courses were wow, even the Pavlova was again huge and for me, way to much for one person, so my husband and I shared it, with hot coffee. I know that sounds bizarre, but its hard to find a coffee in a restaurant these days. Its usually lukewarm at best.
I would highly recommend any of the 3 Restaurants the Owners have, as they are individually special, the menus also vary so you could eat at all 3 in the same week and receive a different dish.
Thank you to the attentive staff too and for a lovely evening. 10/10.
We hope to see you...

Roast pork, beef cheek pie. 2 x fishy starters, sticky toffee pudding (which my wife reckons is excellent) and parfait (everybody loves parfait!!!). Service is really good, and food came out quickly, but not rushed. The restaurant was busy but not too intrusive. All on all, a really nice meal and experience 😁👍.
Summer 2023 The Pub / Restaurant was closed for a wedding event to which we'd been invited! Apparently, it was one of the first ones they've done!?! From start to finish, everything was excellent. Food. Can of peas (or is it canapés) were tasty and well presented. All main courses were visually attractive and tasty (Yes, I tasted my wife's, too). Same for the desserts. Drinks prices were not at a premium just because it was a function 👍😁. Finally, the staff. Quick, efficient, pleasant, and diligent. I was really impressed when waiting for a drink at the bar, a member of staff walked by, saw a couple of bits on the bar out of place and immediately tidied them. Really great day. Thanks to...
