Crystal Lilies — Restaurant in Rushcliffe

I really rate this restaurant as brilliant and use it regularly. Their food is second to none. However, something sinister is happening here. I wanted to book a takeaway and went onto their website to search the menu. Having arrived there I was constantly taken away to the facebook website to login or join. Now, some months ago I cancelled my facebook account because it was becoming too intrusive. I didn't like being asked what ads I wanted to see. I don't wish to see any thank you very much. The restaurant may not be aware of this limiting feature on their website and if so, they should look very carefully at how it is constructed and, if they share my concern, change it. I will not be the only person who does not wish to be forced into accepting terms like these just to get a takeaway meal. I would think they are in danger of losing business. Why should we be required to join social media just to look at a website. It is tantamount to piracy and should be stamped on. This restaurant deserves 5* for food preparation, service and delivery. I hope the rating I have given will cause a reaction. By all means see if people will login or join facebook or any social media, but please don't make it...

We made a banquet, a very big cooking experience for the whole family, and we tried to make pancakes and messed them up. So we went to buy four portions from the local Chinese, which were actually not fully cooked through, and were just soggy, doughy, and really unpleasant to eat with pancake. I explained to them everything, and could they help. They told me they were a pound a portion. Turns out they're a £1.50 portion. So how did it work out that I got one portion of chicken balls, three portions of pancakes, half a beer, and it came to £17....

£21 pp for an eat as much as you like menu. Choice and food quality is ok but the there is a lot of deep fried options and they all taste the same. Drinks are expensive. Overall plenty of food but poor quality so I would not go back. I'd rather pay more and enjoy everything rather than parts of the meal.
