Although it is a small area, it is a nice place for people to relax. It could, however, use a few more benches. There was an amazing arts project which took place in June 2021 to celebrate Armed Forces Day 2021. It featured work from children and teachers from schools in the area. This is a day upon which the nation can have the opportunity to celebrate the Armed Forces community and to recognise all of the wonderful work they do to protect the UK. The purpose of the project was for pupils to learn more about the armed forces and to thank the troops. Over 4300 pupils took part and they were from 20 different schools. The project explored the different skills which are needed to make the Army a success. On Saturday 25 September 2021, large crowds gathered in the Princes Gardens to observe the unveiling of the statue of VC Kulbir Thapa Magar who won the Victoria Cross in September 1915. The bronze statue symbolises the Gurkha Soldier on a First World War battlefield carrying a British soldier to safety. The statue honours the contribution that Gurkha Soldiers have made to the British Army. ***This place is where The Falklands 40th Regimental Anniversary took place on 18 June 2022. It was lovely and heartwarming to see so many people congregated to watch the Parade and show their appreciation. I took several photographs of this event and please feel free to look at them. The photographs also showcase the aforementioned 25 September 2021 event.***

Nice little area opposite the theatre in the centre of town with Benches flowers statues and memorials. Theirs also a Good bandstand to which hold fairs etc all year round. The gardens are popular for everyone including the local community who came here to relax. Its also quite popular with business workers during their break. Theirs a solider memorial as well as a horse memorial.

A lovely garden with benches, statues and a bandstand. It's probably the prettiest bandstand I've ever seen. Please visit @playgroundadventures and @digibirdadventures on Instagram and DigiBird Adventures on YouTube. Thank u.

This little park has morphed into a really space reflecting some of Aldershot's, more recent military history.
