Absolutely beautiful walk, great for kids and dogs and folk of all ages. The River Ericht is great to follow up to the small weir and there is lots to see. There is a children's playground adjacent to a small car park and bins along the main route.

There are several ways you can go round if you want to do a loop to extend the walk, with options to scramble down to the water's edge and the gorge. The initial part of the walk has a couple of view points with information boards, which is great.

We've been lots of times since restrictions lifted and there's always something new to see in the surrounding woodland. Today we foraged wild garlic and the weather was kind!

Nice walk, beautiful rapids, the only downside was the viewing platform, it isn't in the greatest spot, could do with another one over the river. I took a different path for a better view, if you go over the bridge toward the mill, follow the path 100 yards, you'll see a set of stairs on the left, go down there and follow the path to the right until the opening, you can get down on the rocks there for a better view. A favourite place of mine, walking along the river Ericht from the bridge at Blairgowrie, past the wier to the small observation decks. Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter the rocks beside the river can be very slippery and the waters deep and fast flowing. Amazing to think Donald Cargill made the leap across the falls here. Just goes to show what an incentive is when soldiers are after...
