My Dad and two cousins were in the 1st battalion Coldstream guards šŸ’‚ā€ā™‚ļø and having lived there as a child we decided to vist as we were there for a day its only small but has alot to look at and read grandson loved the little sticker trail which the gentleman at reception was kind enough to give him a clipboard and the sheet with the questions on after telling us to enjoy ourselves grandson also loved the dressing up colouring section we also loved looking and reading about Coldstream and the guards it's free šŸ˜€ but if you can spare some money they are happy with donations.

Fantastic little museum in a beautiful little village. We visited on our last day in the area as my late grandfather served as a Coldstream Guard. It might be a small museum, but it is packed full of the history and information. It's free to enter, but donations are most welcome. They have a little shop and an area for children with colouring materials, books, and the chance to dress in different uniforms. It was a wonderful find, and it was amazing to see my son dress as his great grandfather once did.

Small but very interesting local museum charting the history of the town and its long association with the Coldstream Guards. Full size models of soldiers right up to present day. Many other interesting models and dioramas depicting battle scenes in miniature. Gentleman on desk was very knowledgeable and interesting to talk with. Great for all the family and its free although they would welcome a donation. No pressure.
