Colquhoun Park — Attraction in Scotland

Great park but spoiled for others by irresponsible dog owners. Only this morning an off lead retriever ran at myself and my dog from the opposite side of the park and knocked me clean off my feet! I had to really shout to get the owner's attention while she played with another dog to ask her to get the dog on lead as it knocked me over, her response, why should I your dog is off lead, eh yeah it's beside me unlike your dog. Having hurt my ankle and back yes I did swear but out of sheer frustration that I was hurt, trying to get back on my feet while her dog still ran around me! Refereed a rugby match on a damp Saturday with snow/rain the day before. I was expecting the pitches to be really heavy but they were in surprisingly good condition with no surface water and they held up well during the game. This is a great place to bring the kids. There is a well set up child's playpark that is in very good order and is usually very quiet. Beautiful setting away...
