āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø Absolutely Blown Away ā Sana is a Star!
I donāt usually write reviews, but after my recent visits, I felt compelled to say something. Simply put: I am super impressed by the new girl, Sana. From the moment she stepped behind the bar, itās been nothing short of magic.
Letās start with the pints. You know how some people pour a drink and itās fineājust okay? And then there are those rare few who do it with a kind of finesse that makes you stop and appreciate the art of it? Thatās Sana. She pours pints like a seasoned pro, effortlessly balancing speed, precision, and that perfect head of foam. No spills, no fussājust smooth, confident pours every single time. Itās like watching a masterclass in bartending.
But itās not just the pour. Thereās something about the way she carries herselfāfriendly but focused, warm but efficient. She remembers faces, keeps the queue moving, and still manages to throw in a smile and a quick chat that makes your whole visit better. Thereās an energy about her that lifts the whole place.
Now, Iāve heard some rumours⦠word on the street is that her old workplace is pining for her return. And honestly? I donāt blame them. If Iād had someone like Sana on the team and she left, Iād be missing her too. But lucky for us, sheās here nowāand it already feels like the place wouldnāt be the same without her.
To whoever made the genius move to bring Sana in: bravo. And to Sanaāplease donāt go anywhere. Youāve set a whole...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStay well clear of this place on a Saturday night at least! Dropped in for a drink on Saturday night on the way home, wont be back in a hurry. I think the average age of the clientele was around 18 and have very high suspicions it was a lot younger. The place was absolutely rammed with teenager's in fact could count on one hand those that looked over 21. Remind me if I'm wrong is it not illegal to sell alcohol in a licensed premises to people under 18 well the staff at The Station Bar/Restaurant need to be reminded of this. Not once was any form of ID asked for by the Bar staff. Also is it common for groups of males(boys) to go the toilets in groups of 4's on regular basis? It's not Rocket science to work out what's going on thier is it. Then as leaving to get the train was intimidated by a group of 5-6 teenagers who were clearly out thier face. Jesus this place was decent once sadly a long time ago. This place is going to have big issues if this continues I've heard other stories from other people and how its one to be avoided it may be different during the day and during the week, but my visit last Saturday night did not sit well, word of mouth is a...
Read moreWent today to watch the football and have a late lunch. The pub was busy with only a few tables left. Ordered at the bar and food arrived about 15/20 mins later which was a decent wait with it being so busy. The Mac cheese portion was shocking, came in a small bowl, the bowl only had one layer of pasta covering the bottom of it. It was served with two pieces of garlic bread and side salad for £9.50. I am a manager in a catering establishment so I fully understand that food cost prices for companies are on the increase and it is getting harder to make GP but this was embarrassing portion control. The garlic bread was also really cold. My partner had the steak and ale pie which was ok but definitely bought in via Brakes or BidFood as quite dry and very little beef in it. The atmosphere in the pub was good and relaxed, family and dog friendly and is a nice place to come along for a drink, just a shame the food didn't match it. Hopefully...
