Elie Ness Lighthouse — Attraction in Scotland

Small lighthouse situated in an atmospheric location above dark volcanic rocks at the edge of Ruby Bay. Great views over Elie and Earlsferry and across the water to Bass Rock. An interesting section of the coastal path runs close to the sea, with sandy bays and a small ruined tower a few minutes along the coast. Splendida passeggiata di 6 Km c.a. da Elie a St. Monans, tutta sul lungomare e/o sulla spiaggia per godere della brezza marina visto che il sole era caldissimo. Ammirerete un paesaggio incredibilmente affascinante per il contrasto tra il verde dei prati, il rosato della spiaggia ricca di conchiglie ed il nero delle rocce vulcaniche. Vedrete anche le foche che prendono il sole e moltissimi cormorani, sule, fratino e beccacce di mare. Consiglio ritagliarsi gran parte della giornata se c'è il sole anche perché al rientro, con la bassa marea, potrete raggiungere più facilmente alcune spiaggette incantevoli.
