A delightful haven just off the Main Street in Forres. We went to the Hugh Falconer room on the first floor. Excellent audio. Interesting to hear more about his travels and in particular the fossil discoveries. The museum is compact with pleasing layout and design. The exhibits on both floors are annotated.    Read moreThe moment I entered the place I felt overwhelmed by what I considered to be a mini homage to Kelvingrove's centre point of their building (yes it was that well done and laid out!) Plenty of historical packed into a building whose size betrays it's depth of knowledge local and national! Completely impressed by it.
