A very old and important piece of the history of Glasgows shipyards and steelworks. My own grandparents and their entire families worked on these docks and when the decline in the steelworks and ship building happened a good portion of them relocated to Fraserburgh as the work in the fishing industry had started to boom.
It’s a shame that old places like these can’t be appreciated as the once massive industries that they were because of some graffiti and litter 🙄. I’m sure if someone saw a crisp packet at Hadrian’s wall it would ruin that too! 🤣🤦🏼♀️.

Read moreCompletely abandoned. This is not only an important part of the city’s history, but it also hosts a interesting, if small, abandoned buildings, a few crossable bridges, and a surprising amount of greenery.
It is however very dangerous. Our dog fell down one of the slides right into a dock. She was got back out and was fine, but could have drowned if things had went differently.
