Went to see band Autechre at SWG3 Galvanizer hall on the first Sunday of this month. The support act for Autechre was Mark Broom. They are known to play in complete dark room. Even though they repeatedly said not to take any video recordings or do any flash photography yet there are many grown adults who choose to not respect the request of the band whose music they came to see. Why cannot we just feel and absorb in the moment and keep it just in our memory rather than constantly recording/documenting. How many can honestly go back to listen or look through their videos or photos of a concert which are hardly ever good. We should all stop the pathological need to use our phone and just focus and be present in the moment with our mind and body. Mobile phone is simply a curse of the 21st Century ( just feels if we follow some religious story this would fit right into the work of Devil/ Satan to keep distracting us from our true goal. The photo taken by me was during the support act. I did not take any photo during the main event but before when the support act was on to show how the lighting and room looks. When ever I visit this venue it's been always quite windy and cold and even rainy. I also think people should learn to carry their stuff including their rubbish/ garbage with themselves and dispose in appropriate place rather than tossing it wherever. One should always treat this way to feel responsible like If some one tosses such stuff on the path to your home how would you feel. Garbage/ litter is not pretty anywhere especially when wind or birds blows/scatters them around. Simply doing good should be enough without anything in return praise/penalty. These elements...

Very very very poor. We had tickets for Fatboy slim gig on Saturday 20th July. Having travelled over 40 miles and spent ยฃ150 on tickets and travel my 18 year old tee total son was refused entry as they would not accept his yotti government approved digital id as proof of age, not only that we had his mum send over further photos of his passport and provisional driving license but the g4s security "head honcho" still refused to accept any of these. The events own terms and conditions do not state anywhere you must carry physical id to gain entry, the yotti alone should have been more than enough. My son was at Silverstone 2 weeks previous and this was more than adequate id. I tried explaining this to multiple g4s security and asked to speak to a manager from the venue itself after trying to contact them via the phone with no answer but these guys are all simply arrogant folk on power trips. I did manage to speak to a couple of other guys that agreed they would have accepted these forms of id had it been them checking it but it was all down to the head of their security. So all in all we lost out on the tickets I paid for ,the travel costs and the weekend as a whole which resulted in us waiting outside the venue in the pouring rain for 3 hours as no one was remotely interested in helping us resolve the issue. Very very very poor from the venue's own T&C's and the arrogant security they employed for the event. I've been to many many gigs in my time and this was far and away the single worst dealings I've had with security...

Great gig (Explosions in the Sky). Sadly spoiled by three people (one couple and another lady) vaping and blowing the smoke at head height in 3rd row on the right, which was clearly causing a nuisance to a large number of folk around them.

The security dude on the right of the stage, mid 50s wearin glasses, saw it happen the whole time, and instead lf sayin anything, or hell, kicking them out.., just... stared and frowned menacingly instead... So useful. So effective. Give the dude a pay rise...

So hey! A bunch of people just learnt tonight that we can vape in the indoor room if we wanna cuz y'all don't care clearly. Saves money on bands bringing their own smoke machines huh!

Oh! And I almost forgot! You have to pay to use a glass for drinks, at ยฃ3 was it? And then you have to give it back? Great business model โœŒโœŒโœŒ

I've been to festivals where you pay a REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT if you return the glass, but no no!.. a flat ยฃ3 for buying (borrowing? Renting? Needing a receptacle to contain the liquid you just bought at the bar???) to then return said glass, in the name of saving the planet apparently.

Amazeballs. Also give whoever came up with that idea a payrise. Use the funds from the hundreds of cups you rented out/sold/lent...

Good thing the gig itself was awesome.....
