Such a beautiful island, peaceful walks lovely teashop and an old castle. We couldn't understand why the large ferry could only carry 12 people though?? Definitely worth a trip on a nice day.

On prend un petit bateau et on se retrouve seul au milieu des moutons ,avec le château en ruines en fin de ballade, compter 3-4h pour faire le tour. Environ 10km. Superbe vues . Et petit magasin basé sur la confiance, personnes quand on est passé mais lieu ouvert avec boîte pour mettre l'argent. Les écossais sont très très gentil. Merci de respecter les lieux et la nature.

Nice wee island. Parking at ferry slip can be a nightmare. Not all locals are friendly and welcoming but most are.

Kerrera is the island that shelters the port of Oban. A little ferry crosses over to it. It offers nice walks a castle and a tea room. Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Very remote in spite of the proximity...
