The Playbarn at Auchrannie — Attraction in Scotland

NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN

I took my 5 year old daughter to the playbarn last Thursday for some softplay before going to the spa at Auchranie. Shortly after we arrived a group of teens ran into the area, taking over the softplay and toddlers softplay. There are height restrictions but they ignored them. When they started getting physical, shouting and kicking each other I politely asked them if they should be in the area. They told me they had been given permission to be there. I took my daughter who was terrified out of the area and my wife spoke to a staff member about the group. She was told the manager had given them special permission to use the softplay because "they were there all the time". Another child was there and also left when the teens arrived.

There is obviously a systemic problem at Auchrannie, as the wishes of profitable guests children are more important to them than the safely of children 5 years old and less.

My daughter could easily have been injured by one of the teens running into her or landing on her.

Auchrannie really don't care about...

Felt some of the previous reviews were unfair. It was much better than expected. COVID may have a part to play however when we visited it was very clean, My 3yr old loved it, it entertained her and me for a couple of hours and successfully tired her out on a rainy day.
