After a large and l9vely lunch in the Abbotsinch restaurant, Wiffy and I needed to walk off a wee bit of the calorific consumption. The staff at the restaurant directed us to Zetland Park just 4 mins away. I am truly impressed with the maintenance by not only the local council but the local volunteers. Pristine paths , grasses both mowed and wildness, bike track children's climbing frames, etc. Lots of dog walkers.all in control of their pups and on leads. Spoke with an older gentleman with a.border collie puppy ( Patch the 2nd ). Patch the 1st had recently crossed the bridge. He told us that the entire park was being modernised and made.safer with floor path lighting brand new benches bike track etc..etc. The park was previously not a great place to make use of, but the council and local residents invested in their bit, and the sense of pride and protection of this green space put a smile on his face . He was a V interesting man, and we sat, talked, and had a laugh. Considering we are not from this country ( been here 11 years n9w ), I'm still amazed that Scotland is in the main populated with people who will talk with strangers, and I'm learning BANTA 😉. Ive staued in many Western Europe cities and UK but Scottish people seem to be engaging, pleasant, and helpful.

Brilliant wee park correction brilliant massive park! Great for a nice walk with the dog my collie Kaylah lives it, plenty open grass areas along with paths to every part of the park so you don't need to be trapesing through wet or muddy grassy areas! Brilliant new play park for the kids which I'd recommend to any parents for a day out with the little ones, also great during the summer to just find shade under a tree plonk down a cover/picnic matt and just sit reading or watching the world go by! Also free WiFi and E-bikes and scooters to rent for going further into town or just round the park itself. Brilliant! Well done Falkirk Council on the upkeep and constant improvements and renovations currently being done, looking forward to seeing all that when it's finished as along with other new features this will make Zetland park the first park of its kind in either Scotland or the UK? Unsure on that if it's one or the other but apparently it is it's first of...

Has a lovely stream of pollution from the swimming pool running right into the small stream, killing everything in it. We'll done Fallirk council. The park was built and within 3 months was given best park in, god knows what, shouldn't you wait until its all established first? Its actually quite boring. Apart from the bike bit, everything else is a waste of money. Stupid 'concert area' that looks more like a pile of forgotten rocks. The pond isn't deep enough for fish to survive, very well thought out. 👍 great job, Falkirk council. Couldn't even run a bath let alone an local authority properly. Means while, half of Grangemouth council tenants windows are rotten and nit been painted on ten years. But, yes, spend millions on wild flowers which yous don't maintain when it turns into...

Lovely new park. There's a new bike/skate run which is pretty large, and a large playground with a pirate ship in the middle. There are toilets. But they are hard to find. The toilets are in the kiosk. There a pair of red doors at the rear side of the kiosk, no signs or markings indicating they are toilets. Walk up to them and push the door and they should be open and you'll see the another interior door with the men's or women's sign then you're inside a decent sized public toilet. The kiosk is located next to the tennis courts. On a map it's the building inside the park nearest the junction of Wallace street and abbots road.

Perfect park in Grangemouth. Wonderful kids play area. Wheelchair swing. Paved paths for wheelchairs or prams 2 mile circle. Free open tennis courts. Bathrooms beside cafe open weekdays. Cafe now open. Bmx course for scooters and bikes. Mini version for children. Bowls pitch. Bike hire options. Bike fixing station. Mini golf 6 hole game (need own equipment) Orchard area. Quite garden area. War memorial. Dog friendly. Bins for waste. Picnic benches. Lovely open spaces. Gym and swimming pools in a building on the grounds. Local shops and asda within a mile.
