Great, wild open space with lots of interesting trees and wild plants. Can get a bit muddy in places, but for those of us with dogs, there's a very handy bin at the only entrance so you can't miss it, and it's completely enclosed so very tricky for the pups to escape if they do like to roam a bit.

Lovely wide open space with loads of interesting nature to look at... Lots of fallen trees and the like... Completely enclosed, good for dogs still training with recall. Can be muddy and watch for dog waste that hasn't been picked up...

Lovely place. Was bequeathed to the locality by the original owners and it's a real gem. We went to walk the dog but any sort of walking, nature watching or picnicking would be perfect.

You know what it's a lovely park, very nice and beautiful. So why do I have one star? Dog walker's. If you are scared of dogs or something do not come here. I was looking to go for a nice picnic and have been attacked by a dog in the past so I'm quite scared of them. I know it's not the dogs fault mostly stupid owners but anyway when I saw 'dogs on leads' sign I was happy and thought I could have a nice not disturbed walk, should've known absolutely nobody cares about that. Dogs ran up to me and owners did not care at all. I get that it's not a big deal but as I mentioned Im scared of dogs due to past. It's upsetting because it's not the parks fault they made that sign so everyone would feel safe and happy but theres no one else in dog walker's world apart from themselves I guess. So my point is if you are a dog owner who let the dog off the leash even after seeing the sign please listen and understand not everyone is comfortable around dogs also if your dog does run up to someone actually do something. To the park owner again I know it is not your fault the parks beautiful. But yes if you aren't into dogs don't come here because I know nobody cares about my review and if you could reply to review's I would get a ton of abuse...

Absolutely perfect place for dog walking, especially for dogs with selective hearing like mine (beagle). Having said that, after two visits and two allergy reactions on paws and belly, which ended up with antihistamine treatment, I doubt we will be returning to the park. Such a shame as it is a great place to spend the time with...

On a sunny day this my favoured place to let our 6 year old whippet run riot! Safe for dogs, lots of sniffy things to get on with. Take care if you throw a ball, once grass gets long its needle in haystack time. Often peaceful, lovely views, and the odd interesting bird. Well worth going, your pooch will love...
