We stopped by less than an hour before closing and asked the staff if it would be possible to get some drinks and cakes or snacks as we were mindful of closing time but it wasn't a problem for them. As the weather was nice we sat outside- there are some picknic tables with benches. There are plenty of tables inside in case if the weather is temperimental.

We ordered iced mocha with coconut milk, mocha, scallywag and sticky toffee pudding. The food was served promptly. The staff make sure about the milk in the iced coffee. The scallywag was served warmed up which was very nice. And sticky toffee pudding was absolutely lovely! We shared our treats with a gang of greedy wasps who happily were bathing in warm toffee.

The place offers cold and hot drinks, snacks, lunch meals, ice cream, cakes and more. They also offer afternoon tea.

The staff was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. We really liked the good quality coffee and desserts. Definitely worth a stop if you're nearby.

The tables outside are located on the back of car park and spaces for coaches so it may be...

Visited this tearoom today for a spot of lunch. It was evident the place was full but after deciding on 2 salads it was quick and easy to order at the counter. When I ordered I was told it would be a 30 minute wait which was ok for us. After about 50 minutes our order had yet to arrive so I went up to the counter to ask how much longer it would be. I was told another 5 to 10 minutes. Sure enough after a wait of about an hour our 2 salads arrived. They were tasty but honestly an hour for 2 salads? I understand they were super busy hence why I would have preferred a more realistic waiting time such as an hour and then I could of either decided for or against staying. Lovely setting, nice food and polite staff unfortunately the long wait tainted...

Have left positive reviews for this establishment before, however after visiting today I felt I had to write in defence of the management whilst witnessing a complete & utter idiot. The service was polite & friendly as usual & the food & drink really nice again. This pet friendly tea room even provided our little dig with a couple of dog biscuits. The man sat in the corner with his wife (who never took her coat off this mild day) and son, called over a young waitress and complained his sandwich “was overfilled” and his quiche was “too cheesy” and sent them back and wanted some money back. What a complete & utter idiot. Must say the staff must have patience of a saint. Had it been me he wouldn’t have touched the ground & landed in the...

Lovely, friendly and prompt service by efficient staff. This is a dog friendly establishment and has home baked dog treats available on the counter. Airy conservatory, additional outdoor seating and pram and wheelchair friendly ramp for access. Sited on the riverside by the car park. Closed on Mondays. Sells nine different flavours of award winning ice creams - Grandpa Greene's. Licensed premises. Vegetarian options available. Children's menu. Home baking. Afternoon teas. Breakfasts served til 11.30 am. Jackets, sandwiches, soups and much more, all reasonably priced.

I didn’t have the best experience. We had to wait 40 min for a ham and cheese sandwich. As we were waiting for so long one of the tables became available outside so we decided to sit. The staff started shouting at us as if we were not costumers, claiming that the price for takeaways what’s a different one (although only one price was showing on the menu). They didn’t even give us the chance to buy drinks or anything extra. They told us they had people waiting when no one was there (and we walk pass 5 minutes later and the table was still empty).
