Southport FC stadium — Attraction in Sefton

Recently, I attended my first Southport FC game at Haig Avenue, also known as The Big Help Stadium, to watch Southport take on Preston North End. Southport played exceptionally well and clinched the victory, making it a memorable experience and a good first impression for this team. The fans were amazing and incredibly friendly and generous, one was offering free sweets which adds to the fantastic atmosphere.

The stadium itself is decently sized and provides a great view of the action on the pitch. The food options were reasonably priced; I got a tasty burger for £4.50. However, the price for a 500ml Pepsi at £3.50 was a bit steep but I suppose to they've got to make money somewhere

Overall, I had a wonderful time and would definitely go again. Highly recommend for any football fans looking for an enjoyable...

Blackpool away pre season game. Friendly place and easy to find. Plenty of parking in the surrounding area. Previous visits were reduced by excessive prices inside. This seems to have been addressed to some degree. Beer at £4 a pint is comparable to other places. And you can watch the game with a beer in your hand in...
