Read moreBarnes Park is accessible, well maintained, and full of wildlife. You may see rabbits, fish, squirrels, foxes, parakeets, birds of all kinds, and the odd sighting of a terrapin in the pond. There is a small cafe with indoor and outdoor seating which serves basic food, ice cream, hot and cold drinks. There is both an infants and older children park which are separate from one another. Toilets are basic but baby change and disabled toilets are also available. There is plenty of seating around the park including some picnic benches. The longest is route takes around 15-20 minutes, but if you’re feeling like more of a walk there are extensions at both sides of the park which are considerably quieter.
