Read moreFantastic place my grandson loved it this was our first time her in over 40 years....there are two areas for kids a sandy area for tiny tots and a bigger climbing area for 4 year old upwards. You are not allowed to fish with nets there now not like 40 years ago but the pond is still there with ducks and a nice wooden bridge to walk across The bounce now is a lover like cafe where you can have snacks hot or cold and drinks tea coffee and juice for the kids..
The op of the older play area is a small adult keep fit area with some good excerise equipment my grandson gave it a try on the the only one he could work...
The little down side not enought benches to sit on and I think the sandy area should be fenced off to stopping dogs going into it.. BECAUSE the are still dog owners that don't care where their dogs run......this is a place for tiny tots not dogs to run in.... Sunderland council should correct this if they had any money left out of the £10 million they spend a year on rent for their new office using our rates money.....so they can work in...

They played spot the squirrel and were delighted to see 2, so pleased the fountains were switched on my grandchildren enjoyed a little splodge as did my puppy.
