Due to covid the single water fountain is turned off.
There really should be signs all around the place reminding people to stay hydrated, and there should be a dedicated water dispensing area. At the moment, the bravest souls have to wait in the regular cafe queues, wasting their one hour session time, to try to ask for a free cup of water. This really isn't good enough, there should be a few areas where water is instantly available to all. It's a hot place. Even spectators get sweaty. Kids will dehydrate themselves worrying about waiting in queues. We saw a child faint today. They were offered ice for thier head, but that really was it. Also, there is very little supervision. One staff member was in charge of pulling overhead handles back with a boat hook, one staff member on the top of the warped wall, and then the rest of the bouncy area was unsupervised. It's dangerous here, kids jumping and falling on each other rather than waiting for people to clear the sponge pits. Staff really should be every 30 feet watching like hawks. There appears to be cameras, but you would not rely on cameras at a swimming pool. Its similar here. There should be raised platforms where staff are always...
Read moreA really fun place to go for energetic days of running about and getting bruises 🙂.
The front desk team are really helpful and get customers processed quickly to get onto apparatus swiftly. As tickets are purchased with time slots there's an unlikely chance of the place getting too full to enjoy properly.
There is a cloakroom with free lockers to store items. Next there is a little snack area to grab food and drinks with a large seating area above.
Down sides: there are rules set in place that no one tells you (which also don't make any sense) but the team will give you a warning should you break them.
If you get hurt or want a first aider for advise, best of luck. I got hurt my last visit and ask for a first aider. All I got in response was a blank look and "ooo that looks painful".
The air conditioning performance is not amazing so make sure to drink plenty, you will sweat heavily. Thankfully there is a free drinking fountain for a quick sip but no information to tell you it's there.
Finally, there are no showers. This place desperately needs them, even if they cost a few pounds to use. Everyone is sweating heavily so this is an unfortunate...
Read moreWent for a kids 5th birthday party. Arrived about 10.30am, queue was already pretty long but moved fairly quickly. Lady I spoke to was helpful and friendly. Was told to wait to one side. As other party guests arrive, we were shown to party room. Kids got socks, paper wristband and headband but if parents wanted to join in, they had to go back to desk and requeue to buy some socks. The party host then took the kids to the screen area to go through safety stuff and then onwards to the park. The kids were lead to air park and it was massive and very busy. I was very surprised kids and adults could mingle, used to places doing a kids only bit before opening to public but I guess depends on how many kids there are. 🤷♀️ but watching some of the adults, kids could've been hurt. There are staff members scattered watching. Other areas were more suitable for older/taller kids, but there were a couple of rope swing platforms they could try. Anyway got about an hour play then called back to party room. Where they had pizza, chips and nuggets followed by ice cream.
Overall it was a good experience, staff were helpful when needed....
