The Bob Abley Art Gallery — Attraction in Spennymoor

A fantastic art gallery, featuring work by a number of local artists and a whole floor dedicated to the work of Norman Cornish. I have visited twice in recent months. Staff have all been extremely friendly, knowledgable and eager to help, in particular John, curator of the gallery. A must visit for art lovers in or visiting the North East. Especially those with an interest in Cornish who can enjoy viewing original artworks from private collection and for sale, lithographs, informative videos and a wonderful reconstruction of Cornish’s studio.
