Namaste Spennymoor — Restaurant in England

First time having a takeaway from this new restaurant. Wowzer!! Really friendly welcome from a very smartly dressed polite young man, wished we'd decided to sit in as the restaurant is really lovely inside. I had chicken tikka dhansak which was delicious, not like ones I've had from other places and a bit like a chicken tikka masala with pineapple and lentils, but very nice indeed, tender meat and thick rich sauce, wife had mint lamb which she said was delicious with tender meat and tasty sauce, the rice were perfectly cooked and light and fluffy. The peshwari naan bread was large and a good amount of filling, maybe could have been cooked a little longer as slightly underdone but delicious. Would we choose this restaurant again? Absolutely YES! Next time we will book a table and enjoy a drink with our meal. All the very best to you, I'm sure your business...

Namaste in Spennymoor offers a genuine and highly-rated Indian culinary experience. I enjoyed a delicious lamb curry, accompanied by a refreshing onion salad and a flavorful pickled tray with Lime Chutney, Raita, and Mango Chutney. This was perfectly complemented by pilau rice and plain naan bread. Many others praise the excellent taste, beautiful presentation, and great quality of the food. Dishes are prepared fresh and served hot, with generous portion sizes. The Chicken Madras, Chicken Tikka, and Naan bread are particularly highlighted as excellent choices. The restaurant also serves authentic Cobra Draft beer. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. With both dine-in and takeaway services, I can't recommend Namaste enough. Lovely food and great staff. Nice selection of food to choose from including the some fab authentic spicy dishes. Reasonably priced. Staff are attentive and friendly especially when they spot regulars :)

Only thing that lets the place down is the limited amount of seating as it’s a small venue. If your unfortunate you’ll be seated in the middle table and you get a bit frustrated from been bashed on both sides (kitchen, order collections and toilets). It can be quite loud when full and no background music. If there is you really cannot hear it over people shout-talking over each other.
