Greggs — Restaurant in England

Regularly understaffed at this shop meaning long queues at busier times and also empty shelves in the cold sandwich display, supposed to have at least one of everything available at all times but this is rarely the case here, they can make to order at the counter but rarely have the staff available to do so, badly laid out behind the counter with breakfast bar, coffee machine and online order station way too close to eachother meaning staff are often tripping over eachother (when they have the staff that is 🙄) Much of what I've said IS NOT the fault of the staff as they have to work with what they've got, their workspace is just too confined and cluttered, very badly laid out. Other than the friendly staff everything else wasn’t great. I spent £12 for me and mine partner and everything was stone cold EVERYTHING apart from the coffee, on top of that the hash brown was teeth brakingly hard. Called and sat in this afternoon for coffee and snack. Male staff member at counter neither efficient nor pleasant. Tables,chairs and floor dirty and full of food debris and uncleared rubbish. Do we need another pandemic for a bit of basic cleanliness?? Will try not to visit this branch again even though I generally like Gregg's products. Very dissapointed...
