Lovely walk but be very careful in wet weather! Park up in the car park at Treen and it's around 20 minutes walk, you can see Logans Rock as soon as you get onto the coast path from the car park. It's great fun scrambling around up there but there are some big drops. I went up on a dry day but even then some of the rock faces were still wet, due to this and being alone I didn't attempt to climb the furthest rock face.

Parked at Treen in a paid carpark, I think it was £4 for the day, a lovely short walk across clearly marked fields to the coast path, the rock is not far from here, its a little scrabble, the sea fog made the day magical. Normally, you would have distant views over to the Minack theatre, the cliffs are lovely. It was a great day. We had delightful meal at the Logan rock pub.

I first saw Logan Road back in June 1966. At that time I lived in Brighton. I was 14 years old then. I belonged to a scout troop there. 1966 we had a scout camp in a field just up the road from the post office shop.

We had a mixed time there as during our time there we were exposed to a very violent storm which we lost a couple of the bell tents which got damaged, However we survived. It was also the time that we were hosting the World Cup and England got to the final. Word was passed around from the people who ran the post office and store. We were put as small groups and when to five different houses to watch the match, Which England won against West Germany. We went up onto the headland and a group of us tried to rock the bolder. we did get some movement but not enough to roll it off. Just as well as it would have cost us all our pocket money to get it re-instated.

Well worth a visit to walk out on the headland to see it up close. However go on a good day as the winds can be harsh so consider the...
