Firstly, the barrier is low at 1.9 metres, make sure your vehicle will fit in. Parking is free. No toilets. No cafe. It's literally a piece of nature with some cut walkways. 2 small ponds within that are clean, good enough for your dog to drink out of. Dogs are allowed off lead in this field. There are no dog bins so bring a doggy bag and clean up your rubbish. There are a few benches too. A great place to relax, it's peaceful, quiet and tranquil. Just off of the main road, and close by to a pub.

My lazy dog loved it here. She went swimming for the first time ever, and ran around in circles like we've never seen her do before. A completely new dog. It's very pretty, well organised and has plenty of places to sit and picnic. Overall well worth the visit and we will be back over and over again!

A beautiful place to visit. You can sit on many rocks or benches and relax ,taking in all the nature around you. Or you can wander down one of many differnt pathways to walk round. Very relaxing 😌 The canal is close and so is the Black Horse pub.

It was a dismal day with showers and wind but the park still looked beautiful ,it's a great place to get the cobwebs blown away .clean and well presented ( the park trust keep it maintain ) ,there is 2 small ponds which children supervised as there no fences around them .great place for dog walking as well. When the weather is good I expect the park to be a little crowded .there is a small car park .I would...

Semi wild grassy area with trees and ponds. Large boulders to sit on and admire the views or scramble up. You can access the red way along the old railway and the canal. Currently has wide mown paths, to help with social distancing through the long grass and wild flowers. Shame some people have left litter and dog poo. No facilities on site just a...
