Who would have thought that a tiny site like this, in the armpit between two busy motorways, could provide such a genuine haven from the bustle of modern suburban life?? Read moreThis is a small area of countryside squeezed into the Gatley area surrounded by motorway and housing. It is particularly popular with dog walkers so not really suitable for small children to play due to some inconsiderate owners. There is a lovely wild pond providing habitat for ducks, geese and other aquatic birds. There has been an issue with dogs killing said birds but overall a good area for bird watchers. Read moreWhat a lovely place this is to go for a walk, I found it very relaxing with the trees, greenery, wild flowers and the pond with ducks swimming around.
It's well kept as shrubbery is cut back on the paths and the paths were very well kept so not a mud path.
My only wish is that there was more to see and walk round as it was a treasure to find, will definitely be going back...
