Broomhall Recreation Ground — Attraction in Sunningdale

A nice play park to bring the kids. It's a bit like a smaller version of King George V rec in Farnborough with a variety of interesting apparatus to keep the younguns entertained for a couple of hours, including a helter skelter, long rocking horse (space for about 6 kids), rope-net-pyramid climbing structure, large-ish sand pit, and also an exercise bit off in the field corner where you get those exercise machines that use your own body weight. This actually was the most disappointing area because a few of the nice-looking machines were just a bit too seized up to use effectively. There are toilets on-site (probably only open until about 4.30pm-ish) and a nice wooden shack serving up refreshments and small snack items. Parking is free but limited and during peak times, you might have to hang around for a bit until someone leaves as there are no side roads nearby to provide...

Broonhall Recreation Park is a wonderful facility shared by both locals and visitors alike .Boasting great tennis courts with tuition available from excellent tutors. A good children's section with all the various equipment to keep them happy. On the occasions I have been it has always been well frequented by children of all ages playing games on the field as well as using the equipment. Whilst Mums ,Dad's and carers enjoy a coffee or tea sat at pic nic...

Excellent recreational area for all the family. Lovely enclosed play area for small children with a little cafe for drinks, icecreams etc. Play area has a sand pit for smaller children. Then a large open playarea/gym for older children/adults which opens onto field with football goals etc. Car park is free but with limited spaces when very busy but that is not a negative as could easily charge...
