A nice play park to bring the kids. It's a bit like a smaller version of King George V rec in Farnborough with a variety of interesting apparatus to keep the younguns entertained for a couple of hours, including a helter skelter, long rocking horse (space for about 6 kids), rope-net-pyramid climbing structure, large-ish sand pit, and also an exercise bit off in the field corner where you get those exercise machines that use your own body weight. This actually was the most disappointing area because a few of the nice-looking machines were just a bit too seized up to use effectively. There are toilets on-site (probably only open until about 4.30pm-ish) and a nice wooden shack serving up refreshments and small snack items. Parking is free but limited and during peak times, you might have to hang around for a bit until someone leaves as there are no side roads nearby to provide...
