What a shame this little gem is spoilt by the attitude of some workers, whilst I understand they have had people taking the micky previously not all do and practically stalking players to the point they are uncomfortable because you don’t trust them is insane.
Back ground : my children’s uncle and aunt went to play crazy golf, my 2 young children wanted to join them, ages 4 and 8, the 4 year old is difficult so the plan was for them to play and I keep an eye on the 4 year old, told at the desk that isn’t an option and I had to pay the same and play, at this I asked if my brother and sister in law would be ok watching the kids whilst they play to which they gave me the ok.
Paid for 2 adults and the 2 kids and off I went whilst they went to play, the crazy lady from the desk obviously didn’t trust that I hadnt snuck in and then basically stalked them to the point they couldn’t enjoy the game and felt uncomfortable to keep checking only the 4 of them were playing.
Another weird issue was the lady didn’t want to give my tall 8 year old a full size club to play with even though the kids club was way to short for him, maybe another one of her trust issues in case I sneaked back in and took it from him and played.
And No I don’t care about what has happened to them previously, and No this isn’t a slander on their rules so no point in defending the rules, we agreed to the rules and I didn’t go in without complaint, my issue is treating all genuine paying customers like this will only lose repeat business.
Also purchased ice creams and drinks
Her attitude was poor as soon as we had paid.
Sadly we won’t be returning,...
Read morePlease don’t give these people your money! My 2 year old loves golf and whenever we go to mini golf I’ve never had an issue just paying for him to have a go on his own. Not here. I paid £6.50 for his ticket and was told I had to pay for a full price adult ticket £9.50 just to go round the course and help/watch over him. Nearly 10 pound just to take him round the course and the lady made out it was entry to Disney land or something. He is 2 years old so obviously couldn’t go round on his own. I couldn’t back out either as it would have caused him so much upset. He finished the course in about 15 minutes. Paid way less for way better courses elsewhere that also don’t charge for myself to take him round. We don’t have much money so an extra 10 pound is a lot of money to us. It’s just morally wrong on so many levels and cruel to be honest taking the Mickey out of families with small children wanting to play. Perhaps a £1-2 spectator fee would be acceptable if at all! Same with the train ride my little boy was too small to go on by himself (under 1m) but we had budgeted just enough tokens for him to have ago yet they wanted more tokens for me to be able to take him on.
Not to mention I spent nearly £50 in the rest of their amusement park (lunch, arcade, tokens) yet they wouldn’t allow me to take him round the golf course without paying a tenna on top of his entry. Honestly shame on the people in charge. Greedy.
There is no justification for it. I can get the same view in the free park next to it and across most of the...
Read moreSanta-Fe Fun Park overlooks the seafront and gives you a choice of two crazy golf courses, one pirate themed and one dinosaur themed. We opted for the dinosaurs. A number of the larger and best known species are represented in the models, some of which are animatronic. The course is hard enough to be interesting but not so difficult that a child can't enjoy playing. It is however very compact in its layout so that you can sometimes feel quite crowded by people on the holes ahead and behind. Overall however it provides about an hour of pleasant, light entertainment. There is a bar adjacent to the courses where you can sit in the sun and enjoy a drink but I can give no further information as we didn't...
