This is a fascinating little museum. Tucked away at the back of a car park in the town, it is a little difficult to find but well worth the effort. Having paid the small entrance we were immediately engrossed in the first room all about Piper Bill Millins. I won't spoil the surprise but we must have spent about an hour just in this room. The rest of the museum is all about local history including the storm in 2014 which demolished part of the railway line in Dawlish. The museum relies on entrance fees and donations which is a pity as it deserves better funding. Please give it a visit, you won't be...

Brilliant loved it i am not into museums but my 11 yr old son is and only £2 entry but but wow a peoples museum yes something for everybody in there and A History lesson too i would Reccomend this to visit when in Dawlish a short walk from town centre or up by the Green and if travelling by car well plenty of parking as its beside a council car park yes an Amazing place full...

I was pleasantly surprised by this museum. It's cheap to enter and I had low expectations but they have clearly tried hard to make it a nice little place. In particular we found the room about D-day and the mad piper interesting. I also found the room about the dawlish railway interesting since I had been on the train the day the track was...
