Believe the hype. Had brunch here and was so impressed with every aspect of the experience. The staff were all welcoming and friendly, the food options were perfect for a brunch style bistro as this, and we had the Eggs Hemingway and Chorizo Egg dish (Apologies I forget the exact name!) Which were so good! It was reasonably priced and we also had a cocktail (We were celebrating a birthday!) And it all came to £30 which we thought was value for money given the quality of the dishes and the care that has obviously gone into sourcing great ingredients. (When you have so many egg reliant dishes I guess you really need to have good eggs, and these were very good eggs!)
One thing that I liked was every guest was so pleasantly received and it seemed as though many were returning guests, not surprising given the experience we had, and each time it was someone who had been before the "Welcome back! Read moreThis has been such a welcome find. I will certainly be visiting again. My mother has just been admitted to a nursing home in Dawlish and at 101 is not going to be returning home so I will be spending time in the town visiting her for the next few weeks. I am so glad to have found such a wonderful place to eat at such a difficult time. The food was stunning in its content flavour and presentation. And the staff helpful and considerate. Wow! I would recommend to anyone. I also took a takeaway salad and some goodies home from the deli next door. I do enjoy good food but am struggling to find time to cook at the moment. This place has made my life so much easier and is a small oasis of pleasure. Well done to...

There was a lady rudely telling the young waitress NO to letting us in. Very discriminating cafe. I wonder how they would treat someone in a wheelchair. We live in Dawlish and always like to help our local businesses and what a shame you let yourselves down on not being accommodating or welcoming.
Also have been in plenty of other cafes which are small with my baby and they have always gone out of their way...
