The safety and cleanliness is second to none. Check it out the lifeguards are on full alert during the summer my months .
Toilet facilities are adequate and very acceptable for the amount of people that use them.
Cafe , hot food and drinks. The shops stock as much as possible to cater for our needs.
I love this place. I had days out with the school. My mother loved it and took us as kids to the seaside.
I spent my teenage driving years in convoys of 10s of motors .
In my 20s/30s I took my own family on a yearly basis sharing this happy place with all our friends.
I'm now 45 and this beach has so much more to offer than my beautiful memories.

Read moreLovely sandy bay near Broadstairs in Kent. Plenty of parking at the top. Chargeable March to October 31st then free! Dogs are permitted off season, nearby Kingsgate ( 5 minutes ) is dog friendly all year. Joss bay is suitable for surfers and there is a surf shack on the beach but it was closed when I visited on November 11th. There are public toilets in the slipway leading to/from the beach. At low tide it's possible to get around to the next bay but please beware of the tides. It's a great place for ship spotting, even better from the car park. There is also a walk along the cliff top but beware that parts are not fenced. I walked from the car park towards Dumpton Gap , Cliffe Terrace is lovely and quiet, the views are very good out to see and there are some beautiful houses you can...

Overall, it's a great spot for a classic beach day, but accessibility might be difficult for...
