We absolutely LOVE wow. The manager is always so friendly as are all the other staff. We really enjoy their selection of local produce, bake and brew brownies and blondies as well as locally made sandwiches by Roll Britannia. We love supporting local and this lovely local business is run by a couple who are Devon born and bread which is really nice too. We attend a music and numbers class called Counting Kids class once per week for our little one that a local lady Faye runs. The coffee is absolutely moreish and I love coming here with my friends while the children can play safely. There’s good baby change facilities and a fantastic baby area that’s “penned in” so little ones that can crawl can’t escape! There’s no other soft play like it and it makes me feel safe knowing my little one can’t escape from the under 2’s section. It’s ideal knowing that the big kids aren’t jumping all over the babies in this bit like other soft plays we have been to. We loved the Christmas party that WOW put on and it was lovely to have a nice present from Santa that was meaningful. The staff ensured Santa and his elves knew my little ones name which made it super special. All in all, we love WOW. We’ve been coming for over a year and I like to visit places a few times before leaving an accurate review. I can safely say you’ll have a brilliant day here whether you’re local or visiting. 5...
Read moreAlthough a slightly smaller venue compared to the one in Barnstaple, this one seems much more inviting and warm due to its great natural lighting along electric. Tables are met by staff for orders which although no entirely necessary, its a nice bonus for those that don't want to sit in a queue and can wait while seated. Staff always seem welcoming on the desk, and the attractions for the kids seem perfectly adequate while the added climbing wall and interactive dance mats are great too. My own children seem to spend more time within this one than coming to me every five minutes which as any parent would admit, is a blessing when they need some downtime.
I'd say one slight disadvantage is the lack of cooked food options, however, I'm aware this would increases costs overall onto the consumer leading to over the top charges on basic food items as well as entry. I'm unsure if own food is allowed to be brought on premises, I have done with children I care for through work and not had problems but best check with the staff. I have a few suggestions for some other additions that may be good for this place but for now I'll keep those quiet. All in all, a really pleasant place to bring...
Read moreWe recently visited the area and always like to find a softplay for our 3 year old so we have been to quite a few now and i've got to say this is one of the best.
The main area for 2+ is huge, with many different levels and themes on each level with a big slide in the middle. They have a smaller bit for under 2s, a climbing wall and an interactive floor. We went on a weekday when there was unlimited play, so we were able to have some play in the morning, leave and go around the shops then return in the afternoon without extra charge which worked great for us. Our son enjoyed it that much we returned just before we travelled home.
The guy that served us on both days (I forgot his name) was friendly and helpful.
Don't think my son would have left unless we removed him. If we are in the area again we would certainly return....
