I pop in every time I am in the area because the coffee and food is fabulous! Everything they serve is delicious! The Pasties and Sausage Rolls are excellent. Treated ourselves to a Apple Crumble Scone which was also delightful! They never miss! The Cherry and Almond Croissants are absolutely superb! So much so I order a box of 10 to take back to my mum in the West Midlands every visit. I want to thank Nathan for saving me money on buying more Croissants and Lynne for baking them! Both made the experience even better. All the staff are polite and very smiley going the extra mile to make conversation. Great team, great manners, great cleanliness and great service. Thanks again! Looking forward to coming back!

Local feel cafe with great taste! The “La Marzocvo” coffee machine was being serviced, so I could not get to taste the Union coffee from this top of the range, hand made coffee/espresso machine. However the Pastel de Nata was wonderfully fresh and there were lots of other temptations on offer. Really spacious and comfortable with lots of window seating - great break from the shopping experience!!

We had a delicious cream tea (best we've had) which we ate on the comfortable outside seating area. We took home traditional pasties and various sweet pastries. All were delicious. Would recommend.

Visited on a very quiet late afternoon. Incredibly helpful staff member (Kieran) made us welcome and helped us choose our purchases. We had a delicious cream tea (best we've had) which we ate on the comfortable outside seating area. We took home traditional pasties and various sweet pastries. All were delicious. Would recommend.

I'm going to keep this factual so you can make up your own minds. This is my conversation with the server: [After waiting ten minutes to be served] Server - 'Sorry to keep you. I was chatting to the delivery driver'. Me - 'That's ok. Please may I have hot chocolate with soya milk'. Server - 'Do you have an allergy?' Me - 'No" Server - 'Would it be ok if you have cows milk because I have a premade batch that might not sell?' Me - 'I'd rather have soya milk.' Server - 'The hot chocolate I have made is really nice!' Me - 'But I want soya milk' Server - 'You'd be helping me out and you don't have an allergy.' Me - 'Ugh. Do what you want.'

I'm probably not going to be back...

Very Dissatisfied and disappointed with the level of clean cutlery(not clean) and cups, they still had items on them and cups stained one of cups had a big chip in it around the rim of cup? Disgusting!!!! As a regular visitor to the cornish bakery where ever I find them, this store is very below par to others in the chain, the cornish pastie was very dry and crust rock hard, staff did not ask what milk I wanted ? so got full fat blue milk towhich I can not have! So became very ill , if it was not the fact we were travelling through the area, I would have gone back to the store, so I made complaint to head office awaiting response so will update...
