Attempted to visit on a rainy day.
Muddy slushy grass embankment with no way of getting into the park without walking for some distance.
The fabled steam trains were out of the shed and puffing, but not going round. No way of getting into the 'member area' to attract their attention and we stood on the soggy platform waiting for 10 minutes before giving up when it became clear that the driver enthusiasts were pretty much like real train drivers and the rain must have been classed the wrong sort to drive a train in.
We waved at them but they ignored us. So we gave up and went home. Pretty poor show and hardly likely to make us want...

The play area was clean and plenty of seating for the parents and another bonus was the reasonably priced ice cream van charging 2.00 for a 99 ice cream. Kids also love maze by the walled garden.
Then we walked over to the play area which has loads of things to do including musical area which is really cool.
All in all a great few hours put with the kids. Who loved it.
