Atlantic Bowl — Attraction in Trafford

Hello my daughter and her friends went here for her 15th birthday and staff on numerous occasions gave us rude looks and told them off for sitting on the edge of a table while sorting their game out they cut off the game short so they could no longer play after paying with MY money. though while doing the game they accidentally rolled a bowling ball off the side where the bumpers were telling them to get out. The “boss” who was waring a pink shirt was verbally abusive towards my daughter and teenagers and a Ginger ish girl in a uniform for Atlantic bowl uniform was repeatedly shouting at the group to get off the table even when they weren’t and that was just to change the name. My daughter and other people in the group has special need they then got home and we’re all seeming distraught from the shouting and very shaken up. They noticed they left money in there and the they said the money would still be there if it was and they then checked to find no money was there and the booth was cleaned meaning the staff had taken the money as there was only one other group of adults that wouldn’t have taken the money as they weren’t near them and were still there when they came back. it’s her birthday we are seriously disappointed and further action will taken if this happens again....

So we had a few issues but the issues aren't what we took away from the experience. Overall we had a fun evening. We did have a staff issue and a lane issue and honestly that could have out us off completely except for the manager handling everything so brilliantly! Lane issues were sorted out relatively quickly and at one point the manager (Matt) jumped in to help out which was good to see. When we explained that we had had a few issues with the lane already he apologised and happily added on time so we wouldn't be negatively affected. He also handled the incident that happened with one of the staff really really well and to be honest we came away feeling like we had been listened to and things were resolved appropriately. Took the family here on Good Friday and surprised to find it wasn't too busy which was great because got a lane without any waiting time. Paid for 2 games and were given lane 14. The mechanism to bring down the pins kept on breaking down and the pins would just fall over as soon as they came down. I had to keep going and telling the staff and at one stage we waited around 10 mins and nobody showed up. This happened on lane 14 FIVE TIMES before we were moved onto lane 15 where again near the end of the game the same thing happened and it broke down. As a gesture of good will one of the staff gave us a free game in the VIP section to compensate for our game being constantly interrupted by dodgy equipment.
