It's been a nice park in the past, when people made efforts to use the eyes they no doubt possess. It's interesting that the park is filled with signs that say to "Keep your dog on the leash" So I visited last week with a few small children. Imagine our surprise and the children's terror and crying when a massive black dog rushed towards us without a leash, mouth open and foaming while barking. The owner was nearby, but was talking to someone on the phone while turned away from her dog. Seeing how she was obviously too busy to control her dog, her conversation must have been a matter of life or death. And the playground for young kids is a distance from the play area for older kids, which isn't great for those looking after kids of different ages - I don't think this park was designed by a parent! But they do have an aviary, which is fantastic, and tennis courts, and a bowling green. There are lots of trees and a nice grassed area. There's also a more formal garden at the back. You can tell the volunteers look after this park really well. It feels very safe...
