What should be a real showcase for Mace and Savilles instead really shows they do not have the skills or business acumen to make a project safe or a success - mostly empty units, businesses closing down, cars parked on the pavements, cars driving dangerously through the pedestrian area because it’s not managed at all. The car parks are there and have two hours free but they haven’t bothered to sign post them properly. Worryingly there’s also what looks like repairs going on to the new buildings at the moment. A serious lesson in how not to implement and manage a project.

A small community with supermarkets such as Tesco Express, Iceland Foods and The Co-op food, conveniently located near Botley Road, a farmer’s market opens there every Saturday 10:00 am, good for locals but not really recommended if you live too far away from here.

Seems like a dead row of super new supermarkets in a dull and dead square. It's like being in a new town, where nothing is quite happening yet... Maybe needs to become a little more established.

Having grown up in Botley during the 00’s seeing ‘Botley Parade’ as it will always be to me in its current form is quite the shock!

Having not visited for nearly a decade - it’s current incarnation is certainly a significant step up from its somewhat rundown original format.

The shops are modern, parking is a massive improvement and you’ll even find a hotel. Much to my own pleasure the front of the ‘Parade’ remains unchanged - with local shops that have been open for decades. The interior is your standard modern shopping district - with a pharmacist, supermarket and enough bike racks they must have been guaranteed...

Welcome to a largely vacant, soul-less concrete jungle. A hi-rise slum for tomorrow's transient populations.

On numerous (?9) bus routes from Oxford (westbound), Swindon & Eynsham/A40.

Good for one night only IF you park at Seacourt Park & Ride, a 10min walk away.

Fuel stations are now 5 miles away in all directions.

The CoOp is probably the best shop there.

Nearby (front parade), Harrison's Fish & Chips are good, if ya can't cook. The Butchers is amazing: opens 6:30am - 4pm...
