I love the smell of freshly cut grass in the mornings and the sunshine after the rain. You can have both here; it’s a pleasant local walk on my park-life list of places to go and it’s free! Away from the mad circus on the other side of the gates you can gather your thoughts on a stress free walk. Perfect.

Nice big park but we went to the fair £2 for every ride, granddaughter's liked it, I did the ghost Train, don't waste your money. Nice day out, noticed a guy going around checking they were doing the health and safety checks so that was good, but the toilets were a mess.

Good for a nice walk. Busy with loads of things in the summer for the kids. Playground for the kids keeps getting better. I drive here everyday to do my walk than the rubbish park by my house. Love the little forest-y areas on the edge of the park

Had a wonderful day at king George's. Bloxwich Wakes. No Bloxwich Carnival this year but thanks to Pat Collins funfairs as the carnival was no more they thought it was a shame so using the date that should have been the carnival they put on Bloxwich Wakes. Many of you will remember the Wakes that used to.be held about the 2nd week in August where Asda is. That used to be the wakes ground and Pat Collins house was on the far left as you come off the main road. Today was more than what the wakes used to be as there was several charity stalls. Bouncy Castles etc. And live entertainment. Singers, dance troop and guitarists. There was also wrestling. Don't worry if you missed it today as its on again tomorrow. Can't say what the entertainment will be but I bet it will be as good. It's on from 10a.m. I shall be on one of the charity stalls selling crochet poppies and knitted character dolls. Why not come and spend the day there, weather is forecast to be good. Once again thank you to Pat Collins Funfairs for putting...

Great park for kids. Mine loved the water play, shooting fountains and a pouring bucket but it was enough to keep about 20 kids happily occupied. Mine also loved the play park and some of the more interesting things to play on. Loads of large fields should you bring a picnic or want to do a game. It was also very helpful having public toilets, the waterplay is on 11-5 in the summer holidays, I'm unsure when the toilets are open from. There is also parking on site or on a side road the other...

Great large maintained grass fields, ideal for dog walkers, sports and jogging. One circuit measures one mile. Has free parking up to certain times. Rugby and football goals are set up. Lots of cricketers also play here. Occasional summer fairs also set up here. Usually you'll find an ice-cream van parked up too in warmer months, ideal for parents of young children as a play area of slides and claiming frames are here. For younger adolescents a small skate area is...
