Tasty Bites — Restaurant in Walsall

Been going to the this cafe the last 2-3 weeks and the food has been tasty. However, the breakfast today the mushrooms didn’t taste right and the bacon was a little bit too salty for my liking but it is only my preference. My mom said her bacon was nice and the sausage was nice the only issue was she also got a weird taste when eating the mushrooms. The hot chocolates weren’t as nice as the previous 2 visits needed a little bit more hot chocolate powder added. Overall the service was great the atmosphere was great very welcoming and friendly staff both of us enjoy coming back every week for our breakfast.

If it was a review on just the staff then it would be 5* but from my one experience I have to say the prices are really good, nice and cheap, but cheap is also the quaillity of food received, again this is my only experience but from what I received I’ll not be trying again.

The ladies seem very lovely and friendly.

I asked for a very well done egg and cheese bap (burn it I said, those little crispy edges on a fried egg I love)

This is half of what I received for 2.50 Most of the singular egg was on one side of the sandwich which was on bread not a bap, and masses of cheese, really disappointed with just one egg on bread for 2.50...

First time in there today and it won't be my last. The food was spot on. Hash browns were crispy and light. Beans nice and hot, Black pudding very tasty and bacon was perfect (thick, with the fat crisped and no black bits on it from the bottom of the pan) My hubby had a BEST and said it was the best one that he had in ages. The staff were friendly...
