Didn't expect to come across this museum today whilst doing the tourist bit in Watchet. Exhibition is not big by any standard but is in the process of being expanded after a recent relocation. Curator and owner Neil is on hand to chat & engage with you on a personal level and I found him extremely polite, helpful and informative on both yesteryear radio transmitters and receivers alike. Exhibits and backdrop soundtrack send you back half a century plus, it creates a massive contrast to the latest tech but shows how far we have come in such a short period of time. Read moreA wonderful collection of carefully-curated memorabilia. I visited this museum with my dad (who was born in 1937), which made it all the more interesting, as he was able to describe and reminisce about the things that he'd grown up with and used, throughout his life - including during his time served in the RAF. So, a great walk down memory lane for him, and an education for my sister and I, who accompanied him. Everything is beautifully laid out, with lots of posters, pics and general nostalgia. Great job!
