A Hidden Gem for kids in Wolves!!
I recently discovered Just Ramps in Ettingshall, Wolverhampton, and I can confidently say it's a fantastic place for young aspiring riders! We took our 10-year-old to their scooter class, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish.
The moment we arrived, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and energy. The facilities are top-notch, providing a safe and fun environment for kids to learn and improve their skills. Our instructor,( I think his name was Will) was absolutely brilliant! He had a natural way of connecting with the kids, motivating them and instilling a sense of confidence in their abilities.
Will's encouraging approach made the session enjoyable and engaging, ensuring that every child felt supported. It's clear that he genuinely cares about their progress and well-being, which made a huge difference. We were amazed at how quickly they picked up new skills!
If you're looking for a place where your child can learn, grow, and have a blast on their scooter, Just Ramps is the place to be. We can't wait for our next session and highly recommend it to any parents looking to inspire their kids to ride! Thank you, Just Ramps, for such a...
Read moreNot a fan. Very cliquey with lots of older, local, kids who are not friendly towards anyone new or learning - treating the place like an extension of their bedroom. Territorial behaviour that is surely not good for business. There were no adults/owners/instructors around to monitor or interrupt this behaviour. Some of these older kids were sniping at the younger kids if they "got in their way". One child was really upset by this. They then congregated outside of the main entrance, vaping in groups. Disappointing that all are not welcome. One of the ramps does not have any platform to land or safety shield/barrier to stop you going over the top of it. Behind that ramp is a corridor below, where people are walking past. It is an accident waiting to happen if a skate board flies over the top, it will land on...
Read moreMy Daughter recently took up skateboarding and she found this place online, we started of with 1-2-1 lesson priced at £30 per session. Absolute bargain considering the time and effort spent by chris (the instructor)
We now are regulars on a Monday night 7-8 in the beginners class (lead by instructor chris) gain bargain at just £9
this by far the safest way for your children to learn the skills needed to improve and gain confidence especially when unfortunately our local skate park is often over run with older kids using the area as a party zone making it difficult to use.
the staff on the desk are fantastic also for information (zack) can never do enough when it comes to questions, They even have a shop and also now a cafe
