Parkfield Central Bar — Restaurant in Wolverhampton

Walked in just after 4pm with my partner for some lunch. The pub had a daunt feeling to it when we walked in as there were only 2 people there before us and the bar tenders were just staring at us. My partner went to the toilet and I walked through to the restirant side. Cricket was playing and I leaned on the table watching as I waited for my girl. Bartender walked over to me and said can you not sit on the table? I said ok. After around 10 Minutes we decided to order drinks as I approached the bar and ordered the drinks he said can you remove your baseball cap. Even though my hat was turned backwards and was with my partner, it seemed weird. Ordered a vegetarian manchurian for collection and 3 roti's. The roti's were nice but the main manchurian portion was small, whenever i have ordered takeaways before from Indian Pubs, the small plastic containers are atleast 80% full, Today it was just 50%, looked like it was a small side dish and not a main like last time when I ordered from here about 12 months ago. The manchurian balls were small compared to last time and other places, the sauce was poor, minimal and very bland, it looked and tasted like the balls were just thrown in some dolmio pasta sauce, not the type you would expect from a Indian restaurant. What can I say? Lovely family run pub/restaurant. We go for food & drinks a lot and it never disappoints. Fantastic food as always and a variety of food & drinks to choose from and they even provide Vegan & Vegetarian options too. Top Quality and Brilliant Customer Service as always. Staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home specially, Chammi (The Boss). You are the man, a legend and a true gent.
