An anime shop! I only wish I had lived closer to this place when I was a teenager (and also had loads of disposable income). The staff have always been very friendly on every visit, especially the guy I'm assuming is the manager! They've got all the bases covered--cute plushies and keychains, figures (including prize figs, figma, nendoroids, etc.), Gundam kits, Japanese snacks, a huge wall of manga, art books and so on. A lot of figures are set up in glass cases through the store so you can have a closer look at them before you buy, which is useful. There is the issue of being able to find most of the figures for cheaper elsewhere--but in my experience, "cheaper" is usually only $5-$10, which I'm happy to pay for immediate gratification and to support the existence of such a neat shop! However, there are a few (like some Madoka prize figures) that are priced exorbitantly more than you could get elsewhere, so it's worth double-checking. Another problem I've often encountered is that they're missing the first volume of manga series--but I've asked about it before, and they do already stock more first volumes (but they still apparently disappear faster than subsequent volumes, which only makes sense).

I recently visited four different stores that sell anime merchandise. Out of all the stores I visited, Anime Pop stood out the most to me and I can confidently say that it is the only store I would want to go back to. From the moment I walked in, I was immediately struck by the store's vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The store was filled with all sorts of anime merchandise, from figurines to plushies and accessories, and I was in awe of the sheer variety and quality of the products on display. But what really set Anime Pop apart from the other stores I visited was the staff. The employees were all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the products they were selling. They took the time to answer my questions and give me recommendations based on my personal preferences, and I felt like they genuinely cared about helping me find the perfect item. Overall, I cannot recommend Anime Pop enough. If you're a weeb looking for a store that truly understands and celebrates your love of anime, this is the place for you. The great selection of merchandise, friendly staff, and unique features make it the clear choice out of all the anime stores I visited, and I will definitely be coming back for more.

I am from out of town, but decided to check it out since I was in the area for the weekend. Once inside... dead silence other than whatever unimportant anime that was playing in the background. I wasn't even greeted once entering, but with strange stares from the store clerks and some of the customers... almost as if I didn't belong there... the selection was diverse as far as statues and build-your-own models goes, but lacks what the store is about... anime! There was one particular dvd series that caught my eye, but was bundled with other series, jacking up the price to $300! I asked one of the clerks if I could purchase that desired series aside from the rest of the bundled dvds. His response was "The store owner wants to sell the dvds as a bundle, because some of the anime series alone won't sell by themselves and just sit in the store"... I respectfully ended the conversation and left the store. Overall, this place is a joke. Sells miscellaneous merchandise about desired anime series, but lacks the diversity of selections in dvd and blu ray... because they will just sit in the store, right? I do not see...
