Love visiting old film sets and Malibu Creek State Park has some of the most famous scenes in the movie industry; Planet of Apes rock pool and Ape City. But there’s so much more, scenes from Viva Zapata, M.A.S.H., Dr Dolittle, Logan’s Run, Pleasantville, Love Me Tender and many more. I love this park. Watch out for ticks though. I left here once with a giant tick buried in my thigh. That was painful but it drew my attention. Your more like to encounter an almost microscopic tick you may never notice increasing your chances of getting Lyme's. Ever since, I spray myself down with cedar oil before going outdoors.
